GENERAL MANUFACTURING STAFF 

Job Title: General Manufacturing Staff

Department: Production

Reports to: Production Manager

Status: 7:00am – 3:00pm – Full Time

The ideal candidate will have some manufacturing and/or production experience as well as have the motivation to continually learn our processes and procedures.


What we do:
We are a kraft paper converter and a panel manufacturer. internal processes include paper converting and laminating as well as operation of pollution control equipment.


Work environment:
All production jobs take place in a warehouse environment, cleanliness on the shop floor is imperative

Essential Tasks/Responsibilities + Desired Skills / Experience:

        • Safely operate a forklift, strong hand-eye coordination, physical strength and endurance also important.
          Converting Phase:
  • Learn saturating machine operation and maintain established procedures
    Monitor production lines, identify issues, remove defective goods from the assembly process.
    Operate roll to sheet cutter in conjunction with saturating equipment
    Attention to detail
    Strong communication skills
    Experience in paper converting a plus

  • Lay Up/Press Operation:
    Sort, weigh, stack, label, verify or measure product to meet product specifications
  • Identify and remove flawed materials from the assembly process
    Steam press operation
    Attention to detail
    Ability to stand for long periods of time
    Strong communication skills
    Physically able to lift/slide panels upwards of 50 lbs.
