Inside sales representative 

Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Department: Sales + Marketing

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Status: 8:30am – 5:00pm – Full Time

Our Sales Support Specialist is a vital component of the sales and marketing team. You will have day-to-day interactions with our distributors, customers, and internal staff. Truly you are the first person that most people will talk to, and strong communication skills are needed.

 

Outline of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for ensuring the highest customer satisfaction level by providing support, guidance, proper follow-up, and resolution of client inquiries or issues. As part of the team, you will be required to wear many hats and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.  

     

    This Inside Sales Representative will have daily interaction with customers and distributors, providing support. Key responsibilities include supporting the Sales + Marketing team, distributors, and customers, managing customer communications, and calls as well as inputting orders and arranging logistics.

     

    Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Researching and qualifying new leads
    • Ability to discuss product features and benefits, troubleshoot customer product concerns
    • Provide an accurate and timely response to customer inquiries through various channels of communication
    • Develop rapport and positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, and distributors
    • Researching and qualifying new leads
    • Process and review orders received in an accurate and timely fashion
    • Support the order fulfillment process by working extensively with production personnel
    • Facilitate both domestic and international logistics alongside the Shipping Department

    Desired Skills / Experience:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years Inside Sales or Customer Service experience
    • Prior surfacing and structural materials experience strongly desired
    • Knowledge and experience with product tracking and CRM systems
    • Ability and drive to learn applications and technical product information
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to clearly explain reasonably technical product information and communicate via email effectively with customers
    • Comprehensive computer skills and the ability to learn proprietary and other software as needed
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
    • Understanding of international logistics a plus
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to analyze and resolve problems

e-commerce support specialist 

Job Title: eCommerce Support Specialist

Outline of Duties and Responsibilities:

As an eCommerce Support Specialist, you help deploy the efficiency of our product to our customers. You’ll be advising and converting our customers to more efficient ways to place orders with us online and access the critical information they need for success. You’re a strong communicator and willing to take the extra step to ensure customers are responded to in a positively effective manor. We communicate by phone, email and live chat—versatility is definitely needed to be successful in this role.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Assist with customer queries for Skatelite via phone, emails from info@Skatelite.com, and chat bots
    • Review and enhance all on-line product listings
    • Suggest improvements to the order review process and partner with Marketing Manager and on possible improvements and automations.
    • Work with our internal teams and our external sales representatives, develop and implement internal ecommerce guidelines for on-line product listings.
    • Prepare e-commerce sales reports
    • Develop customer insights to use to improve the e-commerce business
    • Managing replenishable inventory levels to achieve overall company KPI goals set for turn and profitability
    • Picking units from inventory and preparing them for outbound shipment
    • Documenting and reporting units received
    • Stocking, cleaning and organizing work stations
    • Meeting and exceeding productivity standards while working safely, adhering to quality standards, and adhering to policies and procedures

GENERAL MANUFACTURING STAFF 

Job Title: General Manufacturing Staff

Department: Production

Reports to: Production Manager

Status: 7:00am – 3:00pm – Full Time

What we do:
We are a kraft paper converter and a panel manufacturer. internal processes include paper converting and laminating as well as operation of pollution control equipment.


Work environment:
All production jobs take place in a warehouse environment, cleanliness on the shop floor is imperative

Essential Tasks/Responsibilities + Desired Skills / Experience:

        • Safely operate a forklift, strong hand-eye coordination, physical strength and endurance also important.
          Converting Phase:
  • Learn saturating machine operation and maintain established procedures
    Monitor production lines, identify issues, remove defective goods from the assembly process.
    Operate roll to sheet cutter in conjunction with saturating equipment
    Attention to detail
    Strong communication skills
    Experience in paper converting a plus

  • Lay Up/Press Operation:
    Sort, weigh, stack, label, verify or measure product to meet product specifications
  • Identify and remove flawed materials from the assembly process
    Steam press operation
    Attention to detail
    Ability to stand for long periods of time
    Strong communication skills
    Physically able to lift/slide panels upwards of 50 lbs.
